Welcome to Your Adventure!

Discover hidden gems in Gozo’s northeast as I take you on an exciting journey through picturesque landscapes and natural saltwater pools. Perfect for those looking to experience a different hidden side of Gozo, far off the beaten path.

A Warm Welcome from Your Guide

Your adventure begins at the Victoria Bus Terminus, where I’ll personally greet you and provide an overview of the day’s exciting itinerary. After a quick introduction, we’ll hop into the car and transfer to our hike’s starting point. I’m looking forward to sharing this beautiful experience with you!

Dahlet Qorrot: A Hidden Fishing Village
Our hike starts in the quaint and peaceful fishing village of Dahlet Qorrot. With its small bay and colourful fishing boats bobbing on the turquoise crystal-clear water, this village captures the essence of traditional Gozitan culture. As we stroll through the village, I’ll share some interesting stories about its history and the lifestyle of the local fishermen. It's a perfect spot to pause and take in the simple, rustic charm of Gozo.

Adventure Along Rocky Coastal Trails
We’ll then head along the rugged coastline, where the rocky terrain adds an adventurous edge to our walk. Here, you’ll be treated to stunning panoramic views of the island’s natural landscape. If the weather is on our side, I’ll guide you to some hidden rocky pools where you can cool off with a refreshing dip. This spot is truly one of Gozo’s secret treasures, and I can’t wait to show it to you.

St. Anthony's Battery: A Historical Landmark
Next up, we’ll visit the well-preserved St. Anthony’s Battery, a fascinating military structure dating back to the era of the Knights of St. John. As we explore, I’ll tell you about its historical significance and how it once defended Gozo from invaders. The battery also offers breathtaking views of the islands of Comino and Malta—definitely a moment for your camera!

Discover Gozo's Ancient Salt Pans
Continuing our hike, we’ll reach the secluded Ġebla tal-Ħalfa, where ancient salt pans line the shore. This area is not only a quiet escape but also a great spot for swimming or snorkeling if you’re up for it. You’ll love the peaceful atmosphere of these off-the-beaten-path locations, away from the typical tourist spots.

Relax at Ħondoq Bay
Our final destination is the stunning Ħondoq Bay, a picturesque inlet with clear turquoise waters. We’ll take some time here to relax, enjoy the beach, or grab a refreshing drink from one of the local kiosks. Overlooking the famous Blue Lagoon, it’s the perfect place to unwind after our hike.

Optional Visit to Santa Katerina Chapel
For those who want to see a little more, I’ll guide you on a short detour to Santa Katerina Chapel. Perched on a hill, this charming chapel offers sweeping views of the countryside and the sea—a peaceful spot that’s worth the extra climb!

Discover Gozo's Flora and Fauna
Throughout our hike, I’ll help you spot some of Gozo’s unique flora and fauna. Keep an eye out for native plant species and local birdlife as we walk through Gozo’s natural beauty. It’s a wonderful way to connect with the island’s rich ecosystems.

Seamless Return to Victoria
As our adventure comes to an end, we’ll enjoy a smooth transfer back to the Victoria Bus Terminus. I’ll make sure your day ends on a high note, with plenty of memories to take back with you.
